Adriaan Lafferty was born in Amsterdam but is now a senior in Region 12. He is the oldest of five and enjoys reading, especially to his youngest sister, who is 5. Adriaan was a member of the inaugural class of the Richard Youth Liberty Fellowship at the Texas Public Policy Foundation. His favorite areas of study include literature, history, economics, and politics. He had a winning record at his first tournament ever, made regionals both prior years in the ncfca, has made multiple appearances on LD finals stages, and qualified to Nationals in LD on at large in 2024 despite only ever breaking in speech once.
