Luke participated in Lincoln-Douglass Value debate for four out of his seven years as a competitor in the NCFCA. He made it to finals in several local qualifiers, winning one and competing at the national championship twice. In addition, he placed first in Team Policy debate at the regional championship in his final year. A debate enthusiast and deep technical thinker, Luke loves helping students dive into debate theory and engage difficult ideas with a focus on making arguments as logically sound as possible rather than solely persuasive.

He offers coaching and was a writer for the 2024-25 LD sourcebook.
